Project scope:
The Priest Rapids Dam 390 Ton Gantry Crane Rehab involved repairing and rehabilitating to upgrade the crane mechanical components and controls to current standards. KCS performed the onsite rehabilitation work within a 45-day crane outage window.
Quality key points:
1. Supply and install upgraded controls to incorporate PLC, VFD and radio controls
2. New cable and conduit
3. Upgraded and replaced gearboxes, motors and brakes
4. Completed load testing and commissioning of new crane
